Facing conviction, Luke must strike a bargain with the calculating Daala - his freedom in exchange for his exile from Coruscant and from the Jedi Order. Though forbidden to intervene in Jedi affairs, Luke is determined to keep history from being repeated.

Aaron Allston was an editor of The Space Gamer magazine, which won the H.G. Wells Award for Best Role-Playing Magazine in 1982. Allston later became a freelance game designer, working for Hero Games and Dungeons & Dragons publisher TSR. He is one of the most popular Star Wars authors. He lives in the Austin area.
