La joven Magdalena sólo quiere escapar de la estricta vida que lleva en casa de sus padres, pero no imagina las repercusiones que tendrá su inocente decisión.
Magdalena desaparece un domingo lluvioso en ausencia de sus padres. Tras casarse “en broma” durante una ceremonia secreta con Enrique, este la extrae en contra de su voluntad de su casa paterna. Guiadas por Crimen y castigo de Dostoievski, sus lecturas de Sherlock Holmes y su cultura hollywoodesca, Rosa y Estefanía buscarán a su hermanita en los barrios bajos de la ciudad de México y luego en Europa, donde finalmente se reunirán.
Una vez juntas, envueltas en intrigas terroristas y amorosas, y luego de atestiguar momentos claves de la historia mundial, tratarán de deshacer la maldición que cayó sobre su familia a raíz del desdichado matrimonio.
 
ENGLISH DESCRIPTION

Magdalena vanished one rainy Sunday, when her parents were away. After marrying Enrique “as a jest” in a secret ceremony, he takes her against her will from his father’s house. Guided by their readings of Sherlock Holmes, Dostoyevsky’s Crime and Punishment, and Hollywood culture, Rosa and Estefanía will look for their sister in Mexico City’s slums and then Europe’s, where they will finally find each other.
Once together, surrounded by love and terrorist plots, and after witnessing some key moments in world history, they will try to undo the curse that befell their family after that wretched marriage.
