Maria Herbert-Liew is an illustrator and writer from London.

She has illustrated a number of books and projects including `Collins First School Dictionary¿ and `Very Intelligent Princess¿.

Maria believes that anyone can draw, and in 2015 set up an online drawing collective `Petsket Collective¿ encouraging people from all over the world to share daily sketches with each other. 

In 2020 HarperCollins published her first written and illustrated book `You Can Draw Brilliant Pictures¿.

Maria now lives in Glasgow, Scotland with her husband, a variety of cacti, and plenty of books.
