This annotated bibliography of crime in Victorian Britain covers the journal literature of the nineteenth century, a period marking the apex of the great quarterlies and the advent of the serious magazines on the subject. The 1614 entries cover 45 journals using the authoritative registers of titles of the times. The bibliography surveys every aspect of crime around the country. Indexes to author, other personnel, and subject make the guide easily accessible.

E.M. PALMEGIANO, is Professor of History and Director of Faculty Research and Sponsored Programs at Saint Peter's College. She specializes in bibliographies on the Victorian era.
