John Kelly is a thirty-year veteran of the Broward County Sheriff's Office, one of the largest sheriff's offices in the country, and worked in and supervised many diferent units. He has been involved in hundreds of critical incidents during his career and received countless awards and honors, mostly for placing himself in harm's way so others may live. John has a BA from Norwich University, an MBA from Phoenix University, and is currently pursuing his life-coaching accreditation from the International Coach Federation. In December of 2020, John retired and recently launched "Sometimes Heroes Need Help," a leadership wellness program. John lives on an island just south of Saint Augustine with his wife, Nicol, of twenty-seven years, his daughter, Briana, and Mr. Wallace, his bull mastiff.
