Author of the novel, The Cloisters of Canterbury, Robert Dean Bair has worked as an insurance investigator, industrial engineer, management consultant, and president of an aeronautical products company. He was a member of the First Army Special Troops on Governors Island in New York Harbor. He lives in Naples, Florida.

After fulfilling a confidential mission for President Harry Truman in 1948, Rob Royal accepts an invitation to join a covert group of private citizens advocating patriotism and other beliefs upon which America was founded.
