Ten years after a man is wrongfully convicted the Circuit Court Judge who sentenced him is found murdered. The South Carolina Bureau of Investigation is called in to catch this killer who is bent on revenge, and with a specific list of targets in mind. Detective Dallas Chet is assigned the case which quickly spirals out of control. While tracking the suspect, he becomes not only a target of the investigation but of the killer himself.

Al Beard is a professional photographer and writer living in Lexington, SC. Al received his degree in Photography from the Art Institute of Atlanta in 1976. He founded Southern Sports, Inc. the same year, and has been photographing and writing ever since.

Al began his writing career while in High School, working for the local newspaper in his hometown of Martinsville, VA. He covered high school sports for four years as a writer and photojournalist before moving to Atlanta to attain a degree. He is an avid Major League Baseball fan and follows the Boston Red Sox and Atlanta Braves.
