Ming-Fa Lin is a distinguished professor in the Department of Physics, National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan. His main scientific interests focus on essential properties of carbon related materials and low-dimensional systems. Professor Lin has published more than 300 research articles and has a h-index of 33. He is a member of the American Physical Society, American Chemical Society, and Taiwan Physical Society.
This book focuses on the fundamental excitation properties of a large range of graphene-related materials, presenting a new theoretical framework that couples electronic properties and e-e Coulomb interactions together in order to thoroughly explore Coulomb excitations and decay rates in carbon-nanotube-related systems. It is the ideal reference text for researchers in nanomaterials.
