Bob Trussell is the founder and retired chief executive officer of Tempur-Pedic International, Inc., and was vice chairman of the board from 2002 to 2022. Tempur-Pedic acquired Sealy corporation in 2012 and is now known as Tempur Sealy. Tempur-Pedic began as a startup company in 1992 and has nearly five billion dollars a year in worldwide sales. Mr. Trussell successfully employed advertising media and public relations to spread the Tempur-Pedic story. He took the company public in 2003, where it trades on the NYSE as "TPX." In 2006, he retired as CEO of Tempur-Pedic to serve Christ full-time by using the media for evangelization. He is currently the president of Clean Media, a digital advertising platform catering to Catholic, general Christian, and secular websites.
