When Fred discovers an ugly bug named Buddy in his room, he is terrified by the talking bug. He tries his best to chase it out, but after several failed attempts using defenses like his water blaster, his shoe and even his old Halloween costume, Fred finally gives Buddy a chance to explain why he's there. At the conclusion, Fred realizes that he and Buddy are not-so-different which makes the bug not-so-ugly after all!

Born and raised in sunny South Carolina, Caroline Winfield always had a passion for reading and a fascination with words, but it wasn't until working with her son Trey on his book writing project that she realized her true passion for writing. Caroline's vision is to inspire youth around the world with her books. Motivating children to dream and think outside the box through the power of words is her passion. After graduating from South Carolina State University, she earned a Marketing degree with an emphasis in Business Administration.
