Mark Sanders, LCSW, CADC, is a lecturer at the University of Chicago, USA. He is an international speaker in the behavioral health field whose presentations have reached thousands throughout the world. Mark is the recipient of the Addictions Professional of the Year Award granted by the Illinois Addictions Counselor Certification Board. He is the author of five books that focus on addictions recovery.



This book focuses on approaches to prevention, treatment, and recovery among African Americans. It is the first book written by experts from multiple disciplines, including medicine, psychology, social work, public health, academia, research, persons in recovery, and the clergy.
