Diane de Anda is Professor Emerita in the Department of Social Welfare at the UCLA School of Public Policy and Social Research. Her most recent books are entitled Violence: Diverse Populations and Communities and Social Work with Multicultural Youth.

This book offers an overview of the literature on multicultural issues and assesses its approach to a range of issues that are of direct interest to minority communities within the USA.

This book was based on a special issue of the Journal of Ethnic and Cultural Diversity in Social Work.
