David Hall was an Associate Professor in the Linguistics Department at Macquarie University, Australia, where he worked in research, research supervision, teaching, and administration. His research areas included language for specific purposes, materials development, language teacher education by distance, and learner-centredness /learner autonomy. David passed away in February 2014.
Stephen Moore is a Senior Lecturer in the Linguistics Department at Macquarie University, Australia.
