Wood is a postdoctoral researcher at the Fichte Commission at the Bavarian Academy of Sciences and Humanities, Germany. He translated and edited Novalis's Notes for a Romantic Encyclopaedia: Das Allgemeine Brouillon, also published by SUNY Press.
