"Christ: Mother Mary's Gift of Light" is an imaginative telling of Jesus' life as a child with his mother Mary. The stories are inspired by the idea that the angel Gabriel watched over Mary and guided her in her choices as a parent. Incorporating Bible stories, historical fiction, and both traditional and innovative concepts of the holy family, it is written for the adult reader, and appropriate for ages ten and up.

"Mary Guides His Learning" shows Jesus from age three to six, and Mary's encouragement to learn, play, and explore his community. "Mary Receives His Mission" shows Jesus from age seven to nine, revealing to Mary his mission to bring love to the world. "Mary Prepares Him for His Father" shows Jesus from age ten through twelve, supported by Mary to share his message of love.
