A fascinating tour of Coventry's pub scene, charting the city's taverns, alehouses and watering holes, from past centuries to more recent times.

Fred Luckett worked in project management at Rolls Royce Coventry for more than 20 years, followed by a stint at the Post Office, before retiring two years ago. He was a founder member of the Coventry branch of CAMRA in 1973 and still active within the organization. He is the co-author of two books, The History of Brewing in Warwickshire and 1000 Years of Coventry Pubs and still writes for the Coventry CAMRA branch's magazine.
