Sara is an orphan, seemingly bereft of the magic that is
expected in every child. But when the leader of her orphanage tests her
again, he discovers a terrifying truth. Sara is a Necromancer, the most
hated and feared kind of magician in the world. She is sent to
Caledonia, the forbidden city, where the only other Necromancer in
the world lives, imprisoned by powerful wizards, because he is
supposedly insane and deadly dangerous.
She must learn her art from him or live an eternity in pain and torment.
