Nelly P. Stromquist is professor of international education policy at the University of Maryland. She studies globalization, gender, and adult education policies and practices from a critical sociological perspective.
Karen Monkman is a professor of educational policy studies at DePaul University. Her work focuses on education as it relates to globalization, gender, and migration.
