Jill Gould (MSc PGDip SFHEA, QN, BSc SPQDN, RGN) has been a registered nurse since 1983, a District Nurse and prescriber since 1999 and a senior lecturer since 2006. She is currently Programme Leader for the Non-medical (Independent and supplementary) prescribing programmes at the University of Derby, and external examiner for other prescribing programmes. She is a Queen¿s Nurse, a member of the Association for Prescribers and the Association of District Nurse and Community Nurse Educators. Having spent her formative nursing years in Canada, Jill is an avid supporter of community, District Nursing and prescribing by nurses and midwives.
