This fifth edition of Historical Dictionary of Botswana contains a chronology, an introduction, appendixes, and an extensive bibliography. The dictionary has over 500 cross-referenced entries on important personalities, politics, economy, foreign relations, religion, and culture.
Barry Morton is a Research Fellow at University of South Africa. He is currently employed by both the Sir Ketumile Masire Foundation to produce a memoir of the late President, as well as by the Zimbabwean ZCC to write a biography of the prophet Samuel Mutendi.
Jeff Ramsay is currently Deputy Permanent Secretary for Media in the Ministry of Communications, Science and Technology, and was formerly Private Secretary and Press Secretary for President Festus Mogae.
