Klappentext

From time to time Christianity experiences vicious "winds of ungodly trends" devised by Satan; hosted by ungodly men to disrupt and dismantle the Christian's walk with Christ. It is essential for those who are Christian; especially the newly converted, to be properly anchored in the truths of the Holy Scriptures. This is done by establishing and maintaining a firm foundation in the history and doctrines of Christianity taught by Jesus and his Apostles. Michael D. Beasley is the co-pastor of Community Chapel of Christ Ministries Inc. where he and his wife, Pastor Lori Beasley, support the community-based ministry together in Newark, NJ. The ministry overseer is Darlene E. Jackson, senior pastor. Pastor Beasley is a graduate of Kean University in Elizabeth, NJ where he earned a BA in Psychology. He received biblical and ministerial training from the Aenon Bible College of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World Inc. located in Indianapolis, Indiana. Pastor Beasley has been a productive component in the body of Christ: preaching the gospel throughout the United States; functioning as a church administrator, Christian educator; and youth leader. At the age of 14, he gave his life to Jesus and at the age of 23, Pastor Beasley accepted his call to the teaching and prophetic ministry, whereas God uses him in a clear and precise manner. It is as a teacher that he saw the importance of providing concrete, objective, and sophisticated foundational literature for those who were new to Christ and for those who were seasoned, but held misconceptions about the history and doctrine of Christianity. This book has been written to ensure that those who embrace Jesus today will receive historical and doctrinal truths that will both anchor and propel them into higher levels of concrete biblical understanding about Jesus and Christianity.
