Julie Kamsyz Lane is the author of two prior editions of Frommer's New Orleans Day-by-Day. She and her husband enjoy Southern cooking, historic architecture, and books. They share their home with their four dogs and two cats, and are expecting their first child. Julie divides her time between an old farmhouse in northern Illinois and a 1940's cottage in New Orleans.
