The American Basketball Association Rookie of the Year in 1971, he was a six-time ABA All-Star and one-time NBA All-Star.is an American retired Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame professional basketball player and coach. He was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 1993, the College Basketball Hall of Fame in 2006 and the Kentucky Sports Hall of Fame in 2018.
