Martha Rogers is the author of numerous books, including the Homeward Journey series, the Winds Across the Prairie series, and the Seasons of the Heart series. She also contributed to the novella collections Not on the Menu and A Riverwalk Christmas. A former schoolteacher and English instructor, she has a master's in education and lives with her husband in Houston, Texas.
