Ann Marie Williams was born 1976 and raised in St Vincent and the Grenadines. She grew up without love and kindness. Ann Marie wrote this book to share her experiences during childhood and immigrating to Canada in 1999. Ann Marie currently lives in Toronto, Canada, with her family. She wanted to write this book to show that never giving up is the greatest power of all. Her story highlights the dark times and hardships of her childhood and young adult life. She shows that hard work and perseverance do pay off.
