This Law, Ethics & Society collection reflects the result of interactive academic work initiated by Johann Heinrich Pestalozzi University Inc., Miami, Florida, during the academic year 2018, and also the scholarly work of academics supporting our University. The authors include international academics from the United States of America, Great Britain, Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Switzerland, Austria, Serbia and Macedonia.

Craig Paterson completed his PhD in History at Rhodes University in 2019. His dissertation dealt with the history of umdyarho wamahashe. He then joined the Epistemic Justice and Engaged Research group as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Community Engagement Division at Rhodes University. He is now a Postdoctoral Fellow in the SARChI Chair in Social Change at the University of Fort Hare. His research interests include rural land, cartography, plants and animals.
