Nothing could stop the excitement of the day, not even the possibility of rain. Martin Luther King, Jr. was to lead the only march he led in the Northeast. It was a great day for the city of Boston as seen through the eyes of an eleven year old girl!
Glynnette Scott is a retired speech and language pathologist. While working, she shared this story of marching with Martin Luther King, Jr., with her students on numerous occasions. In her first published book, she now shares this account with others. In her retired life, Glynnette enjoys spending time with her four grandchildren, traveling, crafting and serving at her local church. She and her husband, Richard are parents of two adult children and reside in Boston, MA with their rescue dog.
