Mike Byrne grew up on the Wirral near Liverpool before moving to Wales to study
Illustration at Glyndwr University. Mike now lives in the countryside with his wife, cat and
his two baby sons where he spends his days doodling and illustrating children's books
fuelled only by tea and biscuits. He has done picture books for major clients including
Scholastic and Macmillan C hildren's Books.
