Adélaïde pushes against the confines of the court, blind to the difference between a mistress and princess, with tragic results. Kate Brown is a filmmaker and writer. Her films 'Julie & Herman' and 'Absolutely Positive' have been shown at film festivals and on television in Europe and the USA. Her short stories have been published by the Bristol Short Story Prize and Cinnamon Press, The Swansea Review, Litro and other online magazines.
