HUGH JANES trained at the Italia Conti Stage School and has worked professionally as an actor for over 25 years. In 1975 he became a writer and script consultant for the BBC's leading children's programme Play Away and wrote and devised many scripts for leading children's theatre companies. He has worked as a writer ever since.
