Klappentext

Welcome to the world premier of the Fifth Origami Symphony! Structured as a musical symphony in four movements, these fun and challenging movements depict the richness and varieties of origami. From the Woodwinds to the Horns, from the most familiar of origami animals to the least known Catalan Solids, many origami adventures abound.
Contained in this work are 31 original models, each a masterpiece by origami master John Montroll. Each model can be folded from a single square using standard origami paper. For the first movement, birds with toes add complexity to the folding and detailed expression to the birds. The Woodwinds of the second movement present our favorite and familiar representation of small animals in the woods. The Catalan Solids and Sunken Quadruplet Solids of the third movement are out of this world. The fourth movement concludes triumphantly with complex mammals with horns and antlers. All are of varying levels of difficulty.
The four movements are: First Movement: Allegro: Triplets for Birds with Toes. Second Movement: Andante: Woodwinds in the Woods. Third Movement: Minuet of Catalan Solids with a Trio of Sunken Quadruplet Solids. Fourth Movement: March of the Horns & Antlers.
