Michael Matthews grew up on a cattle ranch on the western prairies. His first profession was as a wildlife biologist in the arctic region of North America. Later, he earned a PhD specializing in philosophical hermeneutics. Currently he works as a consultant helping organizations that desire to know how to understand and work effectively with other cultures.
