Jerry Palmer is the former Professor of Communications at London Metropolitan University, UK. He is the author of seven other books on various aspects of literature, popular culture and the mass media. His Memories from the Frontline (Palgrave 2018) is an analysis of soldiers' memoirs of the Great War.
