These books cover the constitutive elements of sacerdotal polytheism (VI), the constitutive elements of non-sacerdotal polytheism (VII), and the Homeric poems (VIII). They occupy a key position in the economy of the work as a whole by contrasting the two forms of polytheism. In addition, this volume includes an interesting discussion of the so-called ¿Homer Question.¿
