Over the last decade, the implementation of technology in academic and business environments has increased exponentially. Many implementation efforts are attempted without knowledge of the possible problems that can disrupt a succesful implementation, causing the organization to lose money, time, confidence, and patience. This book identifies characterisitcs that led to a succssful implementation and identifies potential problems that exist during implementation and how they can be overcome. How people overcome the problems that occur is crucial to the success or failure of the implementation effort.
