Biografische Anmerkung

An attempt is being made, in this book, to produce a New Human Development Model which emphasizes the everyday experience of ordinary people, including the economic, social, legal, psychological, cultural, environmental, and political processes that shape the range of options available to us toward improving quality of our life. We have given a new concept of the Economics of Capability Development which means moving away from the crude identification of development with statistics on economic growth; capability approach stresses the necessity to place human beings at the centre of the meaning of development. Management has been defined as an institution of an association for the progress of its every member with justice and equity. We have observed that the political leaders in the developing countries like India have not managed properly the human development process, and Indian attitude continues to remain regressive, hence the need of this development model.

Dr Krishna Kant Jha is working as Head of a Post Graduate Department in India has a 35 years experience of teaching and research, keeping multidisciplinary approaches. Associated with many international academic organizations, his works - mostly related to human development regularly found places in journals books and conferences across the world.
