Biografische Anmerkung

"Fighting cancer is our goal. We can do it it¿s in our soul" Despite recent success toward discovery of more effective anticancer drugs, histone deacetylase (HDAC) inhibition plays an important role for the treatment of cancer. HDACs are the part of extensive member of enzymes that have essential biological role mainly through their inhibiting influence on transcription. In this review, we have mainly focus on benzamide based HDAC inhibitors with their synthesis pathways and their biological screening. This review summarizes synthesis of various benzamide derivatives and their evaluated HDAC inhibitory efficacy in terms of IC50 values.

Mayur K. Vekariya was obtained his B.Sc. degree in Chemistry in 2011 and his M.Sc. degree in Organic Chemistry in 2013 both from the Gujarat University, India. Currently, he is pursuing his Ph.D. under the guidance of Dr. Nisha K. Shah at Gujarat University. he is working on synthesis of novel heterocyclic compounds and their therapeutic Interest.
