This book carries a detailed descriptive analysis of age structure of population, labour force participation rate, worker population ratio, and current attendance in Jammu and Kashmir (J&K). Besides, the authors highlight a variation with respect to the estimates of such indicators in two different surveys of NSSO and underscore its implication. Throughout the book, the authors carry out comparative analysis between J&K and the rest of India. The book is designed to be helpful to research scholars and M.A students to get the understanding of the dynamics of job market in the state relative to that of the whole country. Attempts are made to suggest research gaps, thereby encouraging potential researchers to undertake cutting edge research in this field, which is really a need of the day.
