This Book provides an insights into Role of Biofilm in Orthodontics. Orthodontic treatment aims to achieve three most essential objectives structural balance, functional efficiency and esthetic harmony. While achieving these goal, maintaining the oral hygiene of the orthodontic patient is essential. Oral biofilm formed on tooth surfaces cause demineralization of enamel. A combination of proper oral hygiene instruction, preventive measures, early diagnosis, and timely treatment would contribute greatly to the management of orthodontic biofilms.
