Biografische Anmerkung

The present work highlights ¿ 1. Synthesis of Copper soaps derived from edible oils (Mustard, Soyabean) and their complexes with Urea, Thiourea and 2 ¿ amino ¿ 6 ¿ chloro Benzothiazole for comparative studies. 2. Spectral studies (IR, NMR and ESR) and magnetic studies have been carried out to understand the structural insight of the soaps and complexes synthesized. 3. Kinetics of solid state was studied using thermal analysis (TGA). 4. Micellar characterization of Copper complexes derived from Mustard oil has been looked into using benzene as the solvent. Various parameters like density, molar volume and apparent molar volume were evaluated. 5. Ultrasonic interferometer, one of the versatile techniques, was used to study binary systems [Complex ¿ Solvent]. 6. Critical micelle concentration, viscosity, fluidity, various interactions like solute ¿ solute and solute ¿ solvent interactions have been investigated. 7. In order to understand their biological aspects with special reference to fungicidal activities, the study has also been done which may be of utmost use in the field of biochemistry.
