Sleep apnea is a condition marked by abnormal breathing during sleep. Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) is a condition in which there is physical blockage in the upper airway leading to abnormal breathing during sleep. Untreated sleep apnea may lead to complications such as heart disease and depression. It can also affect the individual¿s life during daytime. So, it is necessary to understand and treat this condition at the earliest. The management of OSA is not limited to one specialty but it is a multidisciplinary approach. Being a Dentist, it is our duty to identify and treat the condition at the earliest. This book gives the review of Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) and its management.
