One such technological advancement is the introduction of lasers in the field of prosthodontics that has replaced many conventional surgical and technical procedures and also improved the quality of treatment rendered to a patient. Laser offers shorter and painless procedure with minimal or no discomfort, thus causing less damage to the surrounding tissue.
