In each of us there are two parties in conflict: one wise, other foolish. The unthinking part helps us communicate with others and with ourselves, function in love affairs, find emotional security and solve problems without getting caught by them. The wise part, however, serves to organize the energy and insight of our thoughtless and make them a stable structure.
