She has taught preschool for over 10 years. Courtney is also the owner and creative director of The Teacher Shirt Shop. Her greatest joy is being a wife and mother. Courtney is inspired to write stories that strengthen children's social and emotional development. She is passionate about helping young readers gain insight into the complexities of their emotions. She hopes to encourage children and adults alike to follow their dreams, no matter how difficult the road ahead may seem.
