Lost and Found in Cape Town is a prequel to the series, The Misadventures of a Modern-Day Nomad, and takes place roughly five years before the first book, Highly Flawed Individual. It is unique in that it is not told from Archie's point of view. Instead, we get to observe Archie through the eyes of another character, Dominic.
Fresh out of college in England, Dominic Blakeley embarks on his inaugural trip abroad for a three-month internship at a volunteer tourism company in Cape Town, South Africa. However, his excitement takes a hit when he learns he'll be sharing accommodations with Archie, a spirited, and possibly sex-addicted, Australian intern. As if that weren't enough, they soon discover they're rivals vying for the same position within the company.
