From the Rise Universe. When he founded Sandbox, people thought it was a novel idea. When he fortified it, they thought he was eccentric. When he talked about a worldwide catastrophe, they said he was crazy. Now Sandbox may be the last safe place on Earth. Can they keep it that way, or will Sandbox fall? How will JC, Capp, & company deal with the challenges thrown at them, from both the afflicted & the living?

Mandy was born in middle Tennessee along the Alabama border, an area rich in history & storytelling. From the time she could talk, Mandy loved nothing more than telling stories which naturally progressed into her love of writing. At a young age she was lucky enough to have the privilege of meeting the late, great author, Gregory Mcdonald whose inspiration & influence she carries with her to this day.

Mandy is a proud mother & grandmother. She resides in Virginia with her husband, Michael, & their family of fur babies.
