Biografische Anmerkung

From Israel to Afghanistan. The definitive combat history of the F-15 Eagle and Strike Eagle...as told by the pilots who flew them.
For more than forty years, the F-15 Eagle (and its Strike Eagle variant) has been the US Air Force's premier air superiority, multi-role fighter. Made popular by its ubiquity during the Persian Gulf War, the F-15 has become one of the most recognized and revered fighter jets in the world. Introduced in 1972, the F-15 made its combat debut in the skies over Israel. American F-15s first proved their mettle during Operation Desert Storm and in the air wars over Yugoslavia. Today, the F-15 continues to serve on the frontlines in Afghanistan. Throughout its illustrious combat history, the F-15 has achieved more than one hundred air-to-air victories... and zero losses.
Throughout its illustrious combat history, the F-15 has earned more than 100 air-to-air victories...with zero losses. Wings of Fire is the definitive combat history of the F-15 Eagle and Strike Eagle: from the skies over Israel...to the frontlines in Afghanistan.
